Promotion of Industrial Symbiosis

An important factor when it comes to improving the environmental management of waste lies in the creation of company networks that allow the rational flow of resources generated as by-products from one to another.

These networks take shape via a series of partnership agreements through which guidelines for the supply and reception of surplus materials or services (for example, excess thermal energy) are established so that both the producer and receiver mutually benefit.

The term Industrial Symbiosis, which defines the concept described very graphically, refers to the close and continuous biological interaction between the organisms of different species that occurs spontaneously in nature.

The implementation of Industrial Symbiosis runs into difficulties or barriers which, apart from the acceptance of the idea itself, revolve around the difficulty in locating the right partners and getting to know the real needs of each party involved.

Our services makes this challenge easier: we seek out, evaluate and propose the most suitable partnerships for the characteristics of your company in relation to those of its business setting, acting as facilitators to obtain resource exchange agreements according to the principles of Industrial Symbiosis.
